FAQ

QShould I purchase a watch over the Internet?
ASEIKO recommends that you do not purchase a SEIKO watch through any website, unless it is an authorised SEIKO dealer with the emblem "SEIKO AUTHORISED DEALER SITE" and it has its own retail premises that you can visit. Some non-authorised sites sell counterfeit or second-hand watches, or watches that have been tampered with, and are, therefore, not eligible for care under the SEIKO warranty. Others do not offer the original SEIKO international warranty, nor do they offer any after-sales service of any kind.

QWhat is the guarantee period for a new SEIKO timepiece?
AThe guarantee period for SEIKO watches sold from an authorised SEIKO dealer in Australia is three (3) years from the date of purchase. If the watch was purchased from an authorised SEIKO dealer internationally, then the warranty period is one (1) year. The guarantee period for SEIKO clocks sold in Australia is three (3) years from the date of purchase. All guarantees are limited and do contain certain exclusions. Please examine the guarantee closely.

QWhere can I obtain a watch guarantee booklet?
AA guarantee booklet comes with the watch. If you do not have one, please contact the retailer from whom you purchased the watch. As a guarantee booklet cannot be re-issued, please take care not to mislay it during the guarantee period. However, we will also accept a proof purchase from an authorised SEIKO dealer to perform under guarantee repairs.
